In August 2022, Changrong Agricultural Science and Technology dispatched team to serve the Xinjiang market for the first time. Relying on the service system of Changrong Value Chain, starting from seed source and nutrition, health and biosecurity, data and informatization, the system has continuously optimized all aspects of production management, and achieved remarkable results by the end of November.

 

The Changrong expatriate team ended the quarantine on August 9, officially stationed in a certain pig farm in Karama, Xinjiang, conducted a comprehensive investigation of the pig farm, formulated an improvement plan, and finally determined the purpose of data standardization, process specification and operation standard, with the goal of improving the sow matching rate, increasing the average number of weaning in the farrowing house, and establishing a standardized process system to provide systematic services.

 

After three months of optimization and adjustment, through back fat management, delivery management, and reasonable foster care and feeding management in the later stage, the proportion of stillbirths decreased by 4%, and the average litter weaning increased by 1.2 heads/litter.

 

Improve the management of weaned sows during disconnection, strengthen light stimulation, additional nutrition, and seduction stimulation, so that the estrus rate of weaned sows is improved, and with theoretical explanations and on-site practical teaching, the fertility rate of breeding in this field increases to 94%.

 

In the next step, the expatriate team will continue to strengthen the special theoretical training and practical learning of the staff in the field, continue to track and record the HNS management of gilts, gestational age structure, pig health monitoring, etc., and gradually improve the management plan to help the farm further improve the production performance.
